TKM Bengard Farms is the largest lettuce grower east of the Mississippi. While iceberg is their top crop, they also grow a number of other leafy products including:

- escarole
- endive
- butter
- green leaf
- red leaf
- field corn
Varieties of lettuce grown by TKM Bengard are bred specifically for Florida’s unique growing conditions. The University of Florida and indepenedent seed companies work closely with TKM to develop newer and better varieties every season.
